Soumita Roy Choudhury, Mobilewalla VP of Sales for APAC, was invited to share how data can be leveraged to target customers and to provide insights on trends in data analytics and mobile marketing. Delivering a session on “Using Mobile Data and AI to Effectively Understand and Predict Consumer Behavior”, she discussed the state of smartphone penetration and internet access in APAC; how the collection of mobile data in the region continues to increase and therefore is a great source of consumer data; and then showcased a few use cases on how businesses are using Mobilewalla data and insights to understand and acquire their best customers and prospects. The session was attended by both DBS employees and members of the technology and innovation community in Singapore.
Our talk was followed by an interview with the DBS Innovation team where Soumita did a deeper dive into how mobile insights are increasingly important for customer engagement, the trends in the ever-changing world of data and the role of women in tech.
This was Mobilewalla’s second time at DBS Asia X and like before, the most interesting and engaging part of the day was the Q&A session, where the audience asked about some data privacy concerns as well as innovations in predictive modeling.
