DUTIES: Perform exploratory data analysis and uncover impactful insights by analyzing tera byte scale of data. Be the lead Data Science driven solution builder for our Telco vertical products (Some products are MW Household product, MW IP Classifier, MW IP Lease Time Estimator, MW Network Strength Predictor etc.). Build predictive models using cutting edge machine learning and deep learning algorithms to detect fraud, infer demographics, behavioral propensity scoring and deploy them in production settings. Oversee development and maintenance of Anovos, our Open-Source Library for Scalable feature engineering Using Apache-Spark. Collaborate with multiple members from the Data Science team, as well as other departments, to create data solutions for our problems. Research on AI techniques that could help to enrich the Mobilewalla data repository. Improve the existing models to increase the coverage and accuracy. Build & deploy models in production and maintenance. Present the result and solution to stakeholders and interested parties
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science or closely related field. Advanced knowledge (via coursework or experience) of data science, machine learning models and data engineering related problems. Knowledge of the entire application lifecycle; programming with Python/Scala; distributed (multi-tiered) systems, relational databases and graph-based storage solutions; Open-Source Library usage and Development, as well as version control such as Git; Machine learning algorithms; processing, filtering, and presenting large quantities of data; data and math/statistical methods; Apache Spark, SQL and data science tool kits like Scikit-learn, Spark MLlib and H2O; Tableau or QlikView.
